They are wider than before, but still manufactured in the UK from heavy-duty channel section stiles with riveted treads. (Available in sizes 3 to 12 treads)

Solid design and built to last a few years
I needed a tall sturdy stepladder with strong platform (for my 17 stone frame) to trim hedges and clean out gutters on my single storey extension in safety. My search on eBay led me to the TR Davies unit. It's perfect. Solidly built, non slip surfaces, broad based for stability. Not as cheap as some but I believe you get what you pay for. I consider these steps represent very good value.
