Product Details

Uses air pressure from a spare wheel to bleed hydraulic brake and clutch systems. Set includes; bottle, bottle cap assembly with tyre connector, 3 x hoses, 4 x caps and 5 x seals.

Suitable for one-man operation.
4 caps (25, 27, 44-45 and 46mm)
3 Hoses (3.5 x 303, 5.4 x 303 and 5.4 x 183mm)

Can be used successfully on the following systems: Tandem master cylinders without sensors, Tandem reservoirs, Slave servos, Vacuum Servos.

Collection Details

Our opening times are 7am-8pm Monday-Friday, 7am-6pm Saturday and 9-4pm Sunday. Please check your local store is open on the store locator page, before you visit.

Once you have placed your order online, we’ll have it ready for you at the store you have selected in as little as 5 minutes. We will hold your order for 14 days, after which we will automatically generate a refund to the payment type you used to place the order.

Don’t forget your mobile number – Make sure your mobile number is added so that we can text you when your order is ready to collect. Please wait for your text or email before coming to collect your items.

If an item is eligible for Next Business Day Collection in store, the order must be placed by 9pm Monday to Thursday for collection the next day. Orders placed after 9pm on Thursday, and up to 5pm on Sunday, will be available for collection on Monday. For larger items over 30kg, please allow two business days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent kit - the documentation could be slightly improved. I had to bleed the whole circuit after a major leak on the rear line. This tool was wonderful, with all the bits supplied perfectly matched for my car. Despite thorough (and sometimes duplicated) instructions, the following hints would have been useful: - To bleed the whole circuit like in my case, find a way to work on all four brake bleeding points within the same 'session'. Having to take one wheel off after another (to get access to the bleeding nipples with no garage pit or car lift), to reconnect the kit for each wheel etc. is very inefficient. - As mentioned (for 'vintage cars' - mine is 20 years old, not quite there for MOT-freedom), use both the pressure from the spare tyre, and pump the brake to push as much air as possible from the whole system. Don't rely exclusively on the pressure from the spare tyre, although go gentle on the pumping to avoid the issue mentioned in the doc (master piston getting past a 'lip'). - When disconnecting the pipe from the spare tyre, be as slow and in control as possible. I'm sure I was within the pressure ratings advised, but I was surprised how much 'gurgling' happened in the brake reservoir - the one in the car - when I first disconnected the spare tyre from the system. None of that happened afterwards, when I was much more careful. - Using a syringe to get the car reservoir fluid level to a reasonable height was necessary almost every time I disconnected the system (possibly half a dozen times). Most times the fluid level is right up to the top of the reservoir. This 'syringe trick' is not mentioned in the documentation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple yet effective I would recommend checking for fitment and leaks before filling with brake fluid, and not exceeding the advised maximum pressure of 20psi. 15psi is plenty when connected to a full size tyre - a spacesaver spare wheel doesn’t have the volume of air to maintain pressure in the system. Can’t fault it when used correctly.
