Covid-19 Update

We’ve worked hard to ensure you can still enter our branches and shop at the counter. Wherever possible please select your product choices before entering but we will have catalogues available should you need to make some last minute changes.

Steps continue to be taken to ensure the safety of customers and colleagues visiting our stores including social distancing markers, hand sanitiser, protective screens on our counters and regular deep cleaning of stores. Please look out for information posters and adhere to the latest government guidelines around the wearing of face coverings when in our branches.

Home Page – Return to our home page when browsing by clicking on the Toolstation logo at the top of the page.
Navigation – Navigate to the category or sub category required by using the navigation bar at the side of each page. You can also search our site by description, item number or keyword using the search bar. For other services or information the navigation menu at the bottom of each page can be used.
Adding a product to trolley – Simply click on the “+” button to add to trolley. Doing this multiple times will add further units to your trolley. You can remove items from your trolley either by clicking on the “-” button, clicking the “trash” button or editing in the trolley.
Quickshop – If you have already chosen the part numbers for your order, go to your trolley and enter the part numbers in the “Add to your trolley” section.
Stock Availability – Check stock availability for the product you are browsing by selecting the delivery option or the branch you wish to check from the drop down box on the right of the page. The number of products available will be shown for each part in the line listing.
Trolley – You can check stock availability for delivery or at your local branch using the drop down box on the right hand side. When you have completed your trolley, proceed to Checkout where you can select delivery or collection and use a promo code if you have one.
Checkout – To be able to checkout from, you are required to sign in or register (click for details). Once logged in, select your delivery address & service (click for details) or select the Click & Collect from 5 minutes option (click for details).
Payment – The secure payment process is straightforward and we accept most forms of credit or debit card (click for details). You can also choose to pay via Paypal when ordering via our website.
Order Confirmation – Once your payment has been successfully processed you will be directed to the Order Confirmation screen. This will confirm your unique order reference number along with details of your order, this will also be emailed to you.
Click & Check – Once stock has been checked in your trolley you can click on the Quick Trolley button to request your saved trolley code. This code can be used in any branch or over the phone and this will automatically add all the selected part codes to your order (click for details).
This is the same process as our standard website.

Branches are fully open and operating safely in line with government guidelines

Choose products – Pick up a copy of our catalogue from the branch or browse from one of the large Catalogues on the browser stations. Note the 5 digit part numbers on the order form and take to the counter.
At the Counter – A member of the team will take your order details and once confirmed will pick your order. If more items are required than the stock level available then these can be ordered before 7pm (Sunday 4pm) your order will usually be delivered on the next business day by 6pm. Alternatively you can choose to collect your items from the branch on the next business day after 3pm.
Payment – We accept cash and most credit or debit cards (click for details) and an invoice will be printed to complete the order.
Click & Collect – You can also browse online or on your smartphone before visiting the branch and check stock. If items are available, you can proceed to the checkout and select the Customer Collection option. Choose your branch from the drop down list and check for the green confirmation message before continuing to payment. Confirm your order and collect from the branch from 5 minutes later. If items are not available for same day collection, then place a separate order before 7pm (Sunday 4pm) and you can collect Next Business Day after 3pm.
Choose products – Make your selection from our catalogue noting the 5 digit part numbers for the products you wish to order.
Call us – A member of the team will take your order details and once confirmed will confirm your delivery or collection options.
Payment – We accept most credit or debit cards (click for details) and this will be processed in a secure manner.
Click & Check – You can also browse online or on your smartphone before phoning to check stock for each part you require. Use the Quick Trolley button on the Trolley page and note your code. Quote this code to our team when you phone to avoid the need to read out all of your individual part numbers.
You can order by calling on 0330 333 3303. Our UK Call Centre is open 7am to 8pm Monday to Friday, 7am to 7pm Saturday & Bank Holidays and 9am to 5pm on Sunday.

Covid-19 Update

Delivery direct from suppliers is available and specific delivery times will be displayed on the product page. Our suppliers have implemented social distancing measures which may cause delays in your delivery.

Direct ship orders can be placed online, over the phone or in branch to be delivered to your chosen address. It is not possible to collect these items from branch. To place your order for direct ship items you will simply need to quote the part code to the call centre agent or a member of staff at the sales counter in branch who will then be able to process your order. Online orders can be placed the same as all other online orders, orders with multiple items will be automatically split between Toolstation and our suppliers.

Please note that these products will be delivered directly from one of our suppliers and delivery times can vary. Each product will state the delivery time frame in the top right hand corner of the product page. Delivery times can vary between 2-5 days depending on the item and the supplier. Direct Ship items are not available for Saturday delivery. Transport regulations mean that some products cannot be delivered to offshore locations. These products are flagged as "Unavailable offshore" under "Additional information".

  • PPE products including Gloves, Masks and Respirators and Ear protection ranges are non-returnable at this time.

Within 30 days of receipt, any unused item can be returned at your expense for a full refund. Bring it to any of our UK branches, or contact our Customer Service team on, 0330 333 3303 for advice. Original packaging, all accessories and order number must be included. Our terms exclude the collection of unwanted goods.
In the event of a dispute, you may access the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution Portal available at
Age Restrictions apply to some products; these products are flagged as “Age restricted (18)” under “Additional information” and we may occasionally have to ask for proof of age before despatching an order.
Sometimes, products have to be substituted with alternatives, of equal or higher quality; these may differ in detail from their catalogue image.
Prices are quoted inclusive of VAT.
