Nut Splitter Set (2 Piece) is rated 2.6 out of 5 by 22.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Bought this to remove nuts from an old exhaust. Absolutely awful, only used the smaller one and the blade chipped heavily and just spun when being tightened. Didn't do the job it's designed to do, returned for a full refund. Staff weren't surprised about it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Made of butter Replacing old floodlights isn’t a great job at the best of times. Years of weathering makes the fastenings really hard to shift. Add limited access and it makes it a nightmare. A nut splitter is ideal in theory. Pop it over the nut, few turns with a spanner and Roberts yer mother’s brother. Or not, if the splitter is as soft as butter. Tried both from this pack and finished up using my drill and a cold chisel. Make great paperweights.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tool Failure I obtain these to replace my old nut splitter of 40yrs and the small nut splitter failed on the first 12mm nut, the blade burred and rolled, units returned the next day.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for rusty nuts Purchased this pair of splitters to help removal of two stubborn rusty exhaust nuts on an exhaust manifold. One nut deformed enough to break the rusty bond and I was able to remove with a spanner after trying the splitter on this nut first. The second nut I used the splitter to cut into the nut almost down to the thread on the stud that the nut was attached to. Once I removed the splitter from the second nut I was able to open it up with a flat sided screwdriver and remove by hand. The finish on the tools could be slightly better but at the end of the day they did the job they were purchased for. Definitely a good addition to your tools if you are likely to encounter rusty and stubborn nuts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Did exactly what I wanted them to do Needed a nut splitter for a one-off job. These were a really good price and the quality seems fine. They were very easy to use and did the job. They will sit in the tool box in case I need them again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Complete waste of money Bought this to split a rusted m8 nut. I'd have been better using a wine glass than this tool. Toolstation should remove this product from sale as its not fit for purpose in any way

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not fit for purpose I had some unwilling nuts to remove, couldn't find my old nut splitter which I've had for 30yrs+ so I brought these Silverline duo, with an air of confidence to now get the job in hand done you can imagine the disappointment when on the first nut attempting to split the nut (first of 6) I checked the nut after a few moments when I had thought I had cracked it only to find a slight mark on the nut and a very distorted splitter blade edge, couldn't believe it, it failed so I can't recommend these unless you want to split a plastic nut on the back of your motorbike number plate.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality, Twists in use Cutting blade not hard Bought this to free a seized mild steel 8mm nut on my car boot rear light assembly. The are constructed with a small screw inserted to prevent blade turning in the main body. On tightening the blade twisted to a 45 degree angle to cut the nut off axis of threaded stud. Had to turn the nut splitter to cut the other side of the nut, again skewed to 45 degrees! The blade is blued giving impression of hardened metal but blue scrapes off when use. after cutting one nut (badly) the blade has been damaged by the nut/stud thread. The blade is sposed to be harder than the nuts that you cut? Will be returning them for refund, to the Newark store, where I always had good service on previous purchases.
