Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great little pump Just what I needed. Allows me to water my veggies with a hose pipe instead of a watering can. Probably saves me half an hour a day.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Should have bought one sooner This is quite a powerful pump. Used with a 15 meter garden hose it delivers a good volume of water, perhaps not as much as a hose connected to the mains. The hose suppled to run from the outlet to the fixing on the top of the extension is barely long enough, and the Draper fittings do not fix as securely as Hozelok type. I have fixed my hose directly to the pump and this works well. Well worth the investment, some much easier than filling and carrying water cans.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Useful new tool, saves lots of work. Bought this to save carrying watering cans. Could have done will more explanation in instructions about the float switch and where to put it on this model. The hose connections were VERY difficult to connect, need to really use some force to make them lock on. Otherwise working well and overall pleased with the product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value pump - and silent in use too This was better than I expected, hence the 5 stars. It needs some minor assembly but the instructions are adequate and the steps are obvious. There are 3 handle extensions provided, and they screw into each other, but only 2 of these are actually needed, unless you have a really deep water butt. The handle slips over the side of the water butt and keeps the pump suspended just above the bottom of the butt - so you are not pumping the sludge from the bottom. The electricity lead is plenty long enough. In use the pump is near silent, which I did not expect. If you connect a spray nozzle to the end of the hose then it provides a decent force of spray. I was using about 20m of hose, and it was just fine. If you use a hand spray nozzle that switches off when you don't want to spray, then it is fine to leave the pump running when not spraying, the pump seems not to be affected by whether or not the water is actually flowing through the hose.I expect the pump will also be useful to transfer water from one water butt to another so I always have water where I use it the most. I have had this product less than 1 week, and it is fine so far - but I cannot comment yet on how long it will last in use.
