Draper 36327 Water Butt Pump 240V is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good pump empties a water butt quite quickly Instructions aren't that great and you end up looking at pictures in the box to make sure everything goes together correctly. Works well and with some careful assembly - no leaks. The float has to move up and down fully to start/stop the pump but can tether the float cable to adjust start/stop levels.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good Have used twice so far for watering garden from the water butt. Very easy to use. The output is not huge, maybe to do with my long hose and high garden ground position.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I neede This is the cheapest water butt pump I could find but I'd also a known brand. It was easy to put together, operates almost silently and makes watering all round the garden much easier when attached to a hose reel and spray wand. No need to refill and haul around watering cans.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't work Bought 1, didn't work then got a replacement and that didn't work then got refused a refund as was told I'd have to take it up with manufacture. I'd say keep away!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works but poor quality connectors The pump works well with good pressure. I have it connected to a 3m hose. The pressure may drop with longer hoses. See other reviews. However the connector fitting which takes the supplied outlet pipe to the top handle that looks over the edge of the water butt did not make a water tight seal. This is due to the poor quality of the joiner which is formed as part of top "handle". I replaced the connector with a hozlock pipe joiner which I had spare. So you need to factor that into the cost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Using this neat compact pump Using this neat compact pump in my water butt is not just a handy way to water the plants, but saves me money on my metered supply as well. Shouild pay for itself in weeks during the summer months.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value pump Purchased this to move water to vegetable patch 50m from 4 water butts. It has worked very well, simple to use. The water butts I have are linked via siphons that way I can pump for about an hour without having to stop and move the pump. You do notice that it is considerably lower than mains pressure, it will power a lawn sprinkler but only covers 30% of the area. On 50m of hose I tend to find it has a flow rate of about 9l per minute with an open hose (less though spray gun)
