Collection Details

Our opening times are 7am-8pm Monday-Friday, 7am-6pm Saturday and 9-4pm Sunday. Please check your local store is open on the store locator page, before you visit.

Once you have placed your order online, we’ll have it ready for you at the store you have selected in as little as 5 minutes. We will hold your order for 14 days, after which we will automatically generate a refund to the payment type you used to place the order.

Don’t forget your mobile number – Make sure your mobile number is added so that we can text you when your order is ready to collect. Please wait for your text or email before coming to collect your items.

If an item is eligible for Next Business Day Collection in store, the order must be placed by 9pm Monday to Thursday for collection the next day. Orders placed after 9pm on Thursday, and up to 5pm on Sunday, will be available for collection on Monday. For larger items over 30kg, please allow two business days.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stanley Fatmax Sync Drive Loppers Bypass 31" These loppers are strongly made and cut through quite thick branches with little effort. It’s perhaps stating the obvious, but being a bypass-type design, to deal with thicker branches the handles need to be opened widely: this may make using them tricky if access to the branch to be cut is not easy to reach. The mechanism of the loppers involves two threaded pivots fitted with spring washers. I soon discovered that the tension provided by the spring washers was insufficient to prevent the pivots from loosening, and when this happened the loppers would no longer cut cleanly. The tension in the pivots can be adjusted simply (there is a screwdriver slot in the head of each pivot) but the loosening problem will inevitably recur, To address this issue I put a small blob of thread-locking liquid on the thread of the pivot and this stops the loosening but will still allow the pivots to be undone should the need arise in future

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value and suited to bigger jobs Not used much but it has a clean action and copes well with bigger beech branches giving a clean cut. These are big loppers so they complement secateurs and perhaps a smaller pair of loppers where you need to move around a lot e.g. pruning Rose climbers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Propper loppers These loppers were a good purchase as I was struggling with some cheaper ones that finally gave up the ghost.... these are comfortable to use and required less effort to cut through the Laurel hedge that I bought them for, so Iam really happy with them, and I would recomend them to other people. The thing to realise is the capacity of this tool and not try to cut above that in order to prolong the life of the loppers. They easily cut through Laurel branches up to 30mm diameter although I wouldn`t push that any further.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A useless page A good device seems to work well. A previous one bought from a different retailer lasted a fortnight before it broke. This one seems to be different. The one which broke was made in China but this one from Toolstation was made in Vietnam.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Capable but minor flaw Given these loppers a good outing. They have a large capacity and are capable. Easy to use too. Only gripe is the bolts loosened off after some moderate use. Had to keep tightening up so the blades kept tight. Small design flaw there.
