Spectrum XT1 Diamond Tile Drill Kit 6mm is rated 1.1 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rubbish Most disappointing item I have purchased from toolstation did not even manage to complete first hole & water container does not stick to wall

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not fit for purpose Bought this to drill 8mm hole in porcelain, did not even scratch the tile let alone put a hole in it!! The guide does not even suction to the tile, this will be returned for full refund and staff will be told about this item. I then bought a marcist bit which went through the tile like going into wood with a wood bit. Do not buy !!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not up to the job I bought this drill kit to make 4 holes through ceramic wall tiles to fit a towel rail. Followed the instructions exactly with water running past the drill bit to cool it. After getting halfway through the tile on the first hole, I realised that most of the abrasive had fallen off the drill bit and it was making no progress. Returned to local Toolcentre and swapped the faulty drill for the more expensive wax-cooled version, which made all 4 holes without a problem. Buy the wax-cooled drill, not his one!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rubbish the thing doesn’t do what it says on the instructions

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great idea Very disappointed as the plastic water jacket would not stick to the tiles despite them being smooth porcelain and the drill bit did not last very long and only managed to cut two holes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't bother Bought to drill four holes in porcelain tiles approx 8.5 mm thick. Followed instructions explicitly but the drill didn't even finish one hole before losing all the "diamond" coating. Returned immediately and was refunded in full. Good customer service but a lousy product
