The Yale 4MP camera is an expansion for the Yale smart home CCTV range, allowing users to view and record live footage from their property when connected to the DVR. The camera records constantly, with the 30 metre enhanced night vision, 90° viewing angle and 4MP HD quality providing clear, crisp and detailed footage around the clock in any weather conditions. Suitable for outdoor use with an IP67 rating. Only compatible with Yale smart home 4MP CCTV systems.

We are fully open and delighted to welcome our customers into our branches. Our opening times are 7am-8pm Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm Saturday and 9-4pm Sunday

We advise that you check your local branch is open on the branch locator page, before you visit.

Once you have placed your order online, we’ll have it ready for you at the branch you have selected in as little as 5 minutes. We will hold your order for 14 days, after which we will automatically generate a refund to the payment type you used to place the order.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from VERY GOOD Very good. Added this to a 4 piece camera kit, no hassle, plug and play. Bit of messing on the app when it wouldn't recognise the serial code, but sorted itself out and is very good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good, ignore the horror stories VERY GOOD. There are many horror stories out there, though I cannot understand why. It is virtually plug and play, little bit of messing with the app. The holes for the wires have to be quite large so be prepared and don't skimp else you will struggle to push wires through the hole. I went for the 4mp and very happy as the picture is excellent, day and night. Nothing too unpleasant about fitting them, I've also added a 5th camera without any hassle. No subscription for the APP either.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I'd hoped for This system does what it says on the box - 4x 18m wired 4MP (2K) cameras, a 2TB HDD unit and a mouse. Apart from going up a ladder, the hardest part was deciding where to put the cameras & HDD unit and checking that 18m cables would be long enough, in case I needed to buy any extension cables. It is worth putting everything together inside first, checking it works and familiarising yourself with everything before starting work outside. I mounted my cameras on my wooden soffits rather than the brick wall, which made drilling and installation much easier, with all cables easily hidden in the loft. I temporarily mounted each camera using 1 screw so I could adjust the final position with the system active, viewing the live feed on my phone, before putting the other 2 screws in (once they are fixed you can only adjust 2/3 axis). There's no paper manual, so you will need to download the PDF from their website as the system on the drive unit and phone app are not massively intuitive. Once you know how it works it is relatively easy to set up, with a number of different motion trigger types, notifications and views. I've wired the unit directly into my router, so also needed a 10m network cable and some trunking. The picture is really clear both in colour during the day and in b&w at night and it is fairly easy to save video footage onto your phone, or onto a USB drive on the main HDD unit (I've put a USB extension lead in the socket so I won't have to fiddle around at the back trying to find the slot). All in all a great piece of kit, I am very happy with the purchase.
