Rated 5 out of 5 by from Useful hard to find product Laying laminate onto an uneven old concrete floor that needed raising up by 20mm. First thought was to use concrete screed or floor levelling compound, but several problems became apparent: Neither provided a damp proof barrier. High cost of levelling compound. Length of time needed for screed to dry. After trying half a dozen builders merchants I found this product at ToolStation which solves all the problems. Low cost, waterproof, and because it is only 5mm thick it is easy to fill low spots with pieces of the material before a final complete layer or two giving a perfect flat surface for laminate. And laminate can be laid immediately. Really glad I found this product and will certainly be using it in future. As usual ToolStation provided free next day delivery. Great service.
