Aluminium spreader plates help to distribute heat more evenly across the floor as part of a water underfloor heating system. Pipes are installed into specially designed grooves, and insulation can also be added in the void below the plates – this will reduce downward heat loss for more efficient performance.

If you’re using electric underfloor heating mats instead, compatible UFH boards such as a thermal insulation board will help to improve efficiency and performance as well.
