Timber Complete Loft Ladder 3 Section is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 50.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to fit Was surprised how easy this is to fit. The ladder comes partially assembled but its not fitted to the loft hatch door or frame. Which is perfect as it allows you to put the frame in place, mark up, cut the opening, fit the new timbers across the joists to create the rectangular opening which the frame will sit in. Tip: soend 5 mins to carefully read the instructions all the way through BEFORE starting, so you familiarise yourself with the process. Then i fit the ladder to the loft door. And frame. Then lift the entire thing into the loft. Then screw 2 timber beans ACROSS the opening, then sit the ladder frame onto these to hold in place as you mark up and screw the loft ladder frame to the existing loft joists/frame. Remove timber supports, lower new loft ladder, measure up, and cut to length. Fit the 2 plastic feet and walaa, your done. Took me 5 hours on my own.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Okay but could be better Cutting the steps to the right length wasn’t easy. No handrail on the side. But generally does the job. I had little head room in my loft so this style of ladder that folds is ideal. No insulation in the lid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy loft ladder Fairly easy to install using the instructions. I removed the ladder from the hatch to get the surround and hatch screwed in place then replaced the ladder onto the hatch. Only difficulty was fitting the springs but this was more getting access due to the very low roof pitch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great loft ladder Great ladder with a good depth to the steps. Much better than the aluminium ladder it replaced as it feels a lot safer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Access Good Loft hatch and ladder combined. Gaing access to the loft for storage is simple. The only point of note is there is no insulation on the trapdoor but i intend to fix some high quality insulation to correct this point. As always in my experiance Toolstation next day delivery was great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does exactly as it says on the packet Just fitted this unit. Took about four hours. Very pleased with the result. Check your measurements before starting. Its bigger than you think. The ladder needs a bit of space to come down and open.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loft hatch simple Instruction tell you to put it all together first if you are a diy er put it together first then dismantle it so you know what your up against Take the frame and hatch fit this first then attach steps springs etc after Much more simple and easier
