Rated 5 out of 5 by from It really is compact and designed well A recent purchase but I am confident that it'll last. Some thought has gone into what is an elegant but robust design. In a steel framed house built in the early 50's the usual 1m+ loft hatch/ ladder isn't an option. This fits and is easy to install (even I could do it) and even easier if you look at the video on the Telesteps website. It's not cheap, but I expect that I'll get what I paid for. The only drawback is that it could be a tadge longer. The ladder is at an angle that is functional but I'd like an extra 6"-8" which I am hoping to resolve having contacted Telesteps.
