Rated 3 out of 5 by from First fix only I bought this nailer as is was compact and would allow more manoeuvrability in close quarters when secret pinning oak engineered flooring. Sadly it fell short in a number of areas 1. It didn't have the power to push the pins in to the tongue corners (32mm) and left 3-4mm sticking out , and that's with the guard taken off, and as a result of taking the guard off so as to get more penetration, you then suffer slight impact marks on the edge of the boards. I borrowed my son's Paslode which completed the job perfectly. However, there is a £500 difference between the two...you get what you pay for - that said it would be ok for light weight first fix (not first fix type work requiring round full nails) on flat surfaces. Would I recommend it to a friend....yes and no, would depend on what work they were doing, and remember, it's 240v so you'll also have a trailing cable!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as good as I hoped I looked for a nailer that would take 35mm brads and assumed that this would be powerful enough to drive 35mm all the way in. Using it on softwood it only goes in part of the way necessitating hammering each brad home. I really wanted the nailer for oak, but not a chance... Also it is variable in performance. Tack say four brads (I bought 25mm as well) into identical wood and two may go most of the way in and two only a little way. This suggests the machine is poorly built. I suspect the machine is well designed but poorly made.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's okay but jams too often Using the correct brads from Tacwise, it still James every 3rs or 4th brad.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from fire one nail jam clear fire one still waiting for replacement

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good value Easy to use and I've found it reliable without a single jam in 200. It doesn't drive nails flush very often, about once every 20 shots into softwood with 35mm tacwise nails. That said it saved time with just a quick tap home required with a hammer. A more reliable air nailer might do a better job but if you don't have a compressor or want to pay a lot more for a Paslode or similar, your options are limited. Good for the price. Nails are small gauge so for light jobs really.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Practice using this I bought this to lay the beading round my laminate flooring. I have practiced with wood beading and MDF and am still working out the best two hand pressure to ensure the head is buried. When it is not, simply tap in with a punch. But the idea is to avoid using the punch. The soft head cover comes off easily - I found mine on the drive!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Needs more power Had to hammer the last bit of the nail every time
