Collection Details

Our opening times are 7am-8pm Monday-Friday, 7am-6pm Saturday and 9-4pm Sunday. Please check your local store is open on the store locator page, before you visit.

Once you have placed your order online, we’ll have it ready for you at the store you have selected in as little as 5 minutes. We will hold your order for 14 days, after which we will automatically generate a refund to the payment type you used to place the order.

Don’t forget your mobile number – Make sure your mobile number is added so that we can text you when your order is ready to collect. Please wait for your text or email before coming to collect your items.

If an item is eligible for Next Business Day Collection in store, the order must be placed by 9pm Monday to Thursday for collection the next day. Orders placed after 9pm on Thursday, and up to 5pm on Sunday, will be available for collection on Monday. For larger items over 30kg, please allow two business days.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Some features I will probably never use .... Bought this yesterday, and from the date sticker inside it seems to have been made 3 years ago. Ditto the supplied alkaline batteries had a 2019 expiry date. It replaced a Danfoss TP5 that had lasted 14 years. The Danfoss has a small display, but I much preferred the set up/programming of the Danfoss. I also echo the comments of another Reviewer re the lack of diagrams and photos in the instructions, which are pretty poor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Thermostat, easy all round..... Good thermostat, failry easy to programme, very easy to connect, large easy to read display with a good range of programming functions, and very good price. All in all an excellent buy. Only time will tell on durability.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good product marred by poor documentation The Sunvic Sunstat Room Thermostat is well packaged and has an excellent user interface. I particularly like the use of the thumbwheel to select the days of the week or "Start" (I don't know why it is "Start" and not "Run"). It is very simple to programme and there is simple procedure for copying one day's programme to any other day. There are four time periods available and some jolly symbols appear on the large clear LCD display, to tell you whether the period is getting up in the morning, being out at work, coming back for the evening or bedtime. The LCD is back illuminated whilst any programming changes are being made. It is simple to install. The case opens and separates into two parts, after loosening a single, easily accessible screw. The back part is screwed to the wall and has an entry hole for the cable. There is a well-made terminal block for attaching the live and switched live wires, which for safety is then covered by a plastic plate secured by a screw. Two AA size batteries are supplied. As a wired controller is works exactly as one would expect. Now for the negatives: The installation and user instructions are some of the poorest I have seen. They appear to be simply laser printed A4 sheets with minimal diagrams. I would expect to see an overall diagram of the unit, with the individual controls and displays indicated, but there isn't one. There is what appears to be an ON/OFF button, but this isn't mentioned. The installation instructions refer to a jumper on the circuit board that allows the user to set various parameters, such as how many times the boiler is allowed to turn over an hour, or the hysteresis (dead band) in the switching, but this doesn't appear to make any difference. The instructions claim that an installer can reduce the hysteresis to 1.5C (minimum), but if the jumper is set so the user can do this, then the hysteresis can be reduced to 0.5C. The display shows the measured temperature with a resolution of 0.1C. However, considering this, the unit seems surprisingly inaccurate. I also bought the wireless version of this product and, putting the two units side-by-side gave a difference of 2C. I have also compared the reading with a known accurate mercury-glass scientific thermometer. The Sunstat was reading nearly 2C too low. The instructions mention a "Calibrate" feature, which allows the user to tweak the reading, in case the thermostat is mounted in an abnormally warm of cold part of the room. Given the fundamental inaccuracy of the unit, this seems pretty pointless. In summary, the unit works well and I am very happy with it. The manufacturers should improve the installation and user manuals and there is plenty of scope for this. As far as the accuracy issues are concerned, well I am a picky professional electronics engineer who has designed items like this in the past. Provided you set the thermostat to make you feel comfortable, rather than rely absolutely on its temperature reading then anyone should be very happy with this product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Faulty Room Thermostat I purchased the item, and found that the time even after resetting was not maintained correctly. I complained to the manufacturer, and was informed that it probably had a faulty chip in it, and to exchange it. The replacement was no better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Clear display After installation it took a while to achieve appropriate temperatures, the reading is 2 deg lower than previous stat (can be adjusted ,but why?). I miss the 6 programme states of old, but will get used to the 4. It would be a good addition to have the set temperature displayed. Saving grace is the clear display & easy programming.
