Good engine, the rest of the design is very poor
Just bought this strimmer. However even though I am an engineer out with the engine which is good the rest of the unit is poorly balanced with less than average build quality. The self feed system is no better than a much lower priced unit.

Does exactly what it says on the box
I bought this around 3weeks ago and can say I am very happy with it.
It was easy to assemble and came with lots of features to aid filling and it started easily on the first pull after priming. I have use this for all the edging around the garden and along the outside of the fence where weeds grow and it has coped very well. The strimmer spool autofeeds which makes it so easy to use.

First Petrol Strimmer
Didn't want anything too large as only have grass borders to do, but garden is a reasonable size so assumed a smaller engine would reduce weight. It seems more than capable. I went with this model based on the reliability (hopefully) of a known brand and expected ease of obtaining any parts.
Easy to put together however had difficulty starting initially, the procedure of buttons & levers to press and choke to set is a little confusing at first. After 15mins of use the head stopped rotating so had to take apart to fix. It would benefit from a harness as you tend to feel the weight after a while. No issues with the 'D' handle rather than the 'handle bar' alternative models, it keeps the kit smaller for transport and storing.
The provided mixing bottle is too tall and top heavy when trying to fill. A tool kit bag would be useful to keep spanner, funnel etc. together.
