Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job but has some flaws Does it's job well, nice big colelction bucket. Only problem I had was the reducer sleeves don't fit that snugly. For this price I would have expected some little clamps or something to secure the redcuers to your tool. But apart from that, does the job

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Dust Collector that really sucks!!!!! Bought this for my small workshop. Firstly, it's really light so moving it around the shop is really easy with it's sturdy top mounted handle. First time I switch it on the house got stuck to the floor! It's VERY powerful. If you have been using an old vacuum cleaner like I had this is a definite step in the right direction. I would highly recommend this and by the way, Toolstation delivery was AMAZINGLY fast!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This vac sucks Bought this unit a month ago and I have just finished building a cart to house it in together with a cyclone dust separator. Read various reviews prior to purchasing took a risk having read a few negative reports. However I am pleased to say I am not disappointed at all, some complained it was not very powerful which I totally disagree with, using the right connectors the unit is very powerful. A further negative claim is that it is noisy, which most low cost shop vacs tend to be but if you wear ear defenders when working it is no problem what so ever. Overall is very good value for money and is certainly keeping my shop clean.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall, good unit. Would recommend. Good value extractor complete with 100mm tube and reducers. Not too noisy when running but has a horrible whining sound on start up and switch off. Can't quite keep up with a thicknesser on continuous use and the hose blocks up but this is due to the filter unit sitting right next to the inlet hose, probably need to get a cyclone unit to deal with the chips and this unit will only have to deal with the dust, works fine on the bandsaw.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good sucker, but with issues I have just bought the SIP 01929 extractor for my small wood turning shed, with a view to rigging up some kind of dust extraction for the lathe as well as using it with my bandsaw and bench sander. Until now I've successfully been using my Henry Hoover on the bench tools. This SIP certainly does have a lot of suction, perhaps a bit much for its own good. The issue comes when you start stepping down the attachment nozzles to fit the smaller power tools. When the suction gets restricted through a smaller nozzle, the flexible hose (which is plenty flexible when no nozzles are used) becomes fully compressed, rendering it more or less completely inflexible. In fact, when I attached it to my mitre saw, the hose tightened up so much it pulled the extractor over! But with all that said, it does what it's supposed to do. It's not something I would ever take on site, I'll use Henry for that. But then it's not supposed to be a site tool. Noise-wise, it's not too bad - I'd say not much noisier than Henry on high power. As with all extraction fitted to power tools though, it does amplify the noise of the tool quite a bit. Overall I'm pleased with it and hopefully I can get it to work with the lathe, but it's far from perfect for smaller power tool use. I think I'll look at somehow trying to step down the hose size and use without the nozzles. Just a thought...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Extractor Bought this to connect to one specific machine and its perfect. Very impressed with the suction power. Easy to put together and the connection adaptors made life easy to plug into machine.
