Rated 1 out of 5 by from Shockingly poor product! I normally do not leave reviews on any websites but felt compelled to do so with this product. This is the second Einhell product I have purchased, the first being a chainsaw with easy chain tightening - unfortunately I only ever used it twice as the bar kept on falling out! This product is no better designed. I have used it twice, on the first instance I was unable to insert the head end into other end fully, then was unable to take the sections apart. Today, with only light use one of the bars of the 'cycle handles' bent for no reason. I will be sending this back although not looking forward to dealing with Einhell directly as opposed to Toolstation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value This is a very capable machine for the price. The full harness is a good feature for a budget machine and makes it quite comfortable to use. The engine starts easily once you get the measure of it. The machine is reasonably smooth in operation. I have used it to clear scrub and weeds from an overgrown allotment - it made short work of this. My only minor quibble is that the strimmer guard is very difficult to remove when you want to revert to the brush cutter configuration. It's too early to be able to comment on long term reliability but the machine seems to be well put together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Einhell Brush Cutter The brush cutter was easy to start, lightweight and very effective on 2ft vegetation. Did think about a larger capacity engine, but have no regrets settling for this machine. Would recommended to anyone, lightweight, easy to control and not tiring in use. Cannot comment on the reliability of the brush cutter, but have had Einhell products before and never had any problems. Highly recommended.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from "Easy Start"... not. Einhell brush cutter did not work from the outset. Instructions for starting followed precisely but it absolutely would not start. Troubleshooting instructions on this specific ‘none-starting from new’ problem in the manual didn’t help. Initially opted for a replacement but the returns process has descended into a farce so I’ve opted for a refund.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice piece of equipment It's early days but so far I'm pleased with the cutter (3* in reliability means unknown). The instructions were not very clear at but I put it together easily enough. It starts quickly and is easy to control. After the little electric strimmer I was used to, it feels heavy but the harness is well designed to hold it in position for use. The strimmer attachment takes 2mm cord and is not easy to re-wind. There were no instructions for this either. I think I will manage it much more easily next time though - practice makes perfect. I might have been lost, however, without the experience of re-cording my old electric cutter. I haven't used the brush wood cutter yet. Mine machine cuts out as soon as the fuel tank is half empty. I think this must be because the pipe feeding the carburetor appears to be misplaced and sticking up to the half full level. I haven't investigated further so far. Storing it is made easy because the lower "cutting" half detaches easily and halves the length of the machine. So, although there are a few niggles, overall I am pleased with the machine.
