Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great idea. Another sure-fire winner from TS! Hands up all those who have got a collection of rock hard paint brushes mouldering away in a jamjar with a small layer of congealed paint at the bottom where the white spirit used to be? They were probably expensive "good quality" brushes too? Well those days are over for DIYer's like me. A fantastic idea. These brushes are very cheap and I have to be honest - actually very good quality - if that means dipping in some paint and applying it to a surface without leaving brushmarks or detached brush hairs on the surface. Other cheap makes I have tried have both these faults but these Toolstation ones don't. Another bonus is that you can realistically actually use them again. To get FIVE of them for that price is amazing. Well done Toolstation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Completed the house with one pack I love these brushes... After buying so many different brands for the skirtings and the edges when painting this has to be the best. You do get a small amount of bristles falling off but it's not nothing that can't be picked off.. You are getting what you paid for, though this happened to me with the branded brushes too. I used it for gloss, emulsion and silk paint inside the house.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cheap--use and throw it away, don't try to reuse Provided you don't try to clean or reuse these are cheap and adequate. You'll probably find that bristles will come out and I wouldn't recommend them for top coating--undercoating is OK but a bit of smoothing with fine glass paper helps. Great for exterior rough coating,'rubber'/bitumen/preservative/masonry paints.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A real bargain! I bought the set of throwaway paintbrushes and the first one was used for applying rust treatment paint. I didn't throw it away - I left in a container of water and used it again next day, and the next day after that. Three days hard use is good going for a throwaway brush.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quite good quality for a throwaway brush set Bought these for applying paint stripper, applying adhesive and washing oily, greasy and dirty engine and machine parts. Surprisingly good quality for a product designed to be throw away, have only had to throwaway the one I used for adhesive. Good value for money.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for the price I used to buy packets of cheap brushes from the Pound shop for jobs where quality wasn't too critical. Now I can buy them from Toolstation instead. Some bristles came out when I used these, and they are clearly not as good as quality brushes, but perfectly OK for small areas of touching up or non-decorative painting

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Use & Throw Paintbrush Set Ok some people rate these brushes as 1 star, but lets be honest, at the price you can't really complain as they do exactly what they claim to; use & throw! Ideal..

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A bit too cheap for me I know they're throwaway but in use I found too many bristles in the paint which made the painting process longer than anticipated
