Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fitted in Minutes and Works Like a Dream I bought this CH Three Port Actuator head last week because our central heating was not functioning properly. A couple of radiators were not getting hot enough despite bleeding them and flushing the system. I suspected that the motorised valve may not be opening fully and validated this by opening the mechanism with a screwdriver, which improved matters. I normally buy Honeywell actuators, but this one was cheaper and had decent reviews. Fitted it in a matter of minutes and the result is fabulous. All radiators now heat up much quicker and I've been able to reduce the speed setting on the pump. I'm now a warm and happy bunny.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great replacement I brought this to replace my Honeywell midposition valve. It is a direct replacement head for Honeywell. Everything is identical to the Honeywell even the wiring colour. Easy replacement. No need to drain down. If you're having an issue with your boiler not firing up on heating or hot water it is likely to be the mid position value and not the programmer as this is the part to tell the boiler and the pump to turn on not the programmer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mixed feelings. the easiest way to fix the system if the 3 way valve still works OK and doesn't feel tight or seized, directly replaces a standard Honeywell head with same cabling. Whilst it looks near identical inside and out I just bought this to replace another one of these that only lasted nearly 2 years, developed a switch fault - so I don't think they are as robust as originals. Time will tell.

The problem was that the platform holding the motor and therefore the top of the main spindle was manufactured out of position. The mechanism was jammed as a result. I had to bend it carefully with pliers to get it to rotate freely. So check that it rotates properly before fitting! Wasted 3 hours puzzling over this problem.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lasted two week Fitted new valve actuator as old one was sticking. Customer phone me say same problem as last time . Went around customer house and new actuator was sticking so will have to take it back I no toolstation will refound with no problem. . But no one will redound me

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product This is a direct replacement for the Honeywell device and is almost identical in every way. The quality is at least as good as the original and all the wires are the same colours for simplicity. If you are hesitating about not using the original brand then don't. This is as good or better. I believe there are other replacements out there that are not as good so stick with the Corgi. Great value for money.
