Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Fix Is In! I had to complete fitting some shiplap paneling to the side of a garden shed, so I used these torx screws to fix the battens over the felt prior to nailing on the shiplap. The big plus in using these screws is that I could just pre-drill the battens, and then drill though the holes in the battens and into the concrete block work with a 6mm drill, then, without having to use any rawl plugs I just drove the screws into the batten and in to the wall. The result is fast and very secure; additionally, the torx screw head and a torx driver bit and a good electric drill gives a very positive non-slip drive each time. An excellent product ...buy with confidence.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fitting windows and doors These were recommended to me for fitting windows and door. Im very glad they was. I have fitted a full house worth of windows and doors and these have never missed a beat. Far superior to old fashioned frame fittings. Use the slower speed on your drill and a top quality torx bit. Bear in mind they dont have a smooth top shank so will not "pull in" timber - you have to get everything lined up first. Given the price of these compared to some other brands I was a little concerned about the quality... but no issues... I bought more of the same.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from no rawl plugs good in concrete if concrete is good quality. Not so good in bricks, ok for fitting a light or wall plate in brick, but nothing structural. Correct drill size needed, I found a squirt of lubricant on screw before helps. also when screwing in, 1 turn in 1/2 turn out helps ease the thread you are cutting like a tap or die.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic securing screw Thought I had made a mistake when I saw the size of the screw compared with the 6mm drill bit, however I need not have worried, did the job superbly without the need for wall plugs, the UPVC door is now secured in place and is not going anywhere in a hurry with these screws, Brilliant !!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not just screws.. they're awesome screws So easy! Drill a pilot hole, and screws cut their own thread into brick or masonry.. my builder claimed it was not possible, but I installed 4 150mm screws through a steel lintle, and into brick to support the top rail of sliding doors in less than 30 minutes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Easy to use Used these to fix insulated plasterboard to a masonry wall while the adhesive set. Simply drill a 6mm hole through the board with a masonry drill then drive them in with a torx bit in an electric drill. Very fast and effective and fastened very tight. No wallplug required and self countersinking. Will use generally in future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality frame fixers Bought this to shore up some fence panels, used 6.5mm pilot hole through concrete posts - screwed in well with cordless drill.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rubbishe Totally disappointed. The masonry Torx frame fixing screw failed to enter the pre-drilled pilot hole(6mm) in either brick or concrete, even on highest torc setting on the drill driver. Had to return the packs and use another product. Not fit for purpose.
