Apples for apples
When I opened the box and pulled out the carcass, the body made from plastic, I thought I’d chosen wrong. Actually it reduces the weight of the saw and it is a sturdy unit, great for hobbyist and firewood cutting!! It is a little noisy, but so are they all, no issue when wearing ear defenders.

Not impressed, lacking in accuracy, poor quality.
Bought this saw to run down a few boards to laminate into panels.
The saw is so inaccurate in its design it's useless for doing something like that.
The motor and blade is fixed in such a way that the trailing side of the blade can move 2 or 3mm with little pressure, making it almost impossible to get a straight cut.
The rip fence is so flimsy and poorly designed when fully extended it moves 4/5mm each way. It's mounted with a plastic clamp, which is just not good enough.
The mitre slider is so poor, it may as well be made of of papier mache.
Do yourself a favour and don't buy this saw!
