Product Details

A premium low modulus neutral curing silicone that conforms to BS 5889(A) and accommodates movement of plus or minus 25%. This builder's silicone can be used inside and out, and will stay looking smart for years to come. You can apply this product on virtually any material including PVCu. Choose it for jobs like sealing joints, bonding panelling and weatherproofing gaps and cracks around doors and windows. Make sure that there are no stresses to the joint until it's completely cured.

This silicone has low dirt pick up, meaning that it doesn't attract dust and grime over time, despite being extremely sticky and flexible. You can apply it over water and solvent-based paints. Plus, it's suitable to use on polycarbonate materials like greenhouse panes and conservatories. With quick skin time, it's dry to the touch within 5 to 25 minutes.

Collection Details

Our opening times are 7am-8pm Monday-Friday, 7am-6pm Saturday and 9-4pm Sunday. Please check your local store is open on the store locator page, before you visit.

Once you have placed your order online, we’ll have it ready for you at the store you have selected in as little as 5 minutes. We will hold your order for 14 days, after which we will automatically generate a refund to the payment type you used to place the order.

Don’t forget your mobile number – Make sure your mobile number is added so that we can text you when your order is ready to collect. Please wait for your text or email before coming to collect your items.

If an item is eligible for Next Business Day Collection in store, the order must be placed by 9pm Monday to Thursday for collection the next day. Orders placed after 9pm on Thursday, and up to 5pm on Sunday, will be available for collection on Monday. For larger items over 30kg, please allow two business days.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cable sealing Used to seal around electric cables to prevent warm air leakage to loft etc. There is no cartridge sealant sold specifically for that purpose. The manufacturer suggested this neutral cure 100% silicone as the best available answer. Some foams, e.g. Soudal gap filling, do mention cable sealing, but they are more expensive and less controllable in use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good GP sealer Needed a sealer that could be used outside to seal between brickwork and PVCu frames. Lots of other sealants either said internal use only or didnt say whether they'd 'grab' and seal on PVCu. This one did. Flowed nicely and evenly when applied. Will use this on the other frames I need to replace the old sealant.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Shame I purchase this and used the following day. One day later and the silicone had still not cured despite it saying it cures in 15mins on the tube. I then had to waste time and effort removing the uncured silicon. I contacted the manufacturer who replied within hours and confirmed that the product was a over a year expired. I then informed Tool Station who replied after several days, as follows: "As the retailers we cannot advise on how long these items are meant to last from their manufacturing date to their use date. We accept that the manufacturers confirm that it would have gone off by now." One star because I cannot award less. Also, be aware that Tool Station obviously do not exercise adequate stock control and they have little interest in their customers' misfortune for having used and trusted them, and they refuse to accept any responsibility. Poor, very poor!

It’s quite dense and more difficult to squeeze out than most silicones and so is also more challenging to smooth over a joint with a silicon tool. It does stick well though and is great for sticking lightweight shower panels to the wall
