Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible wireless thermostat I bought this item 2 weeks ago and I have had nothing but trouble with it. It works intermittently and is totally unreliable.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Easy Install. Works. But very flimsy plastic body! All good except for the poor body design. The back plastic cover (holding the PCB and electronics) gets screwed into the wall. Then the front cover comes to it with two pins on top and two screws from bottom (similar to the wired versions). However, the top pins couldn't quite click in and hold the front cover firmly, which meant that it moved and clicked in/out of the back cover when the temperature control buttons were pressed. Also, the battery compartment was very badly designed. Firstly no insulation between the batteries and the PCB. Secondly, the batteries need to be pushed upwards with one hand whilst the lid is slid in from the side. It's very awkward!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lasted 14 months, then died. Not recommended. Unit installed alongside a new boiler. The unit is very fiddly to set up. Battery life is awful. It actually ran I went away on my holidays in November, so came back to cold house. Now after just 14 months, the receiving unit has died. Boiler engineer out to resolved. I would not recommend. Have gone back to a hard wired room stat. They are reliable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from poor quality I bought this to replace my old Drayton thermostat which looked similar to this one in appearance however the poor quality was reflected when I tried to program it. I screwed it to wall where the existing one was but the buttons would not function no matter how often I pressed them they were not connecting with panel. I took it off wall and the only way the buttons would work was to press them firmly whilst laying thermostat on hard surface! I wld have taken it back however the electrician said he would probably have to break the plastic surround on the receiver under the boiler in order to get it off again! The thermostat actually works once programmed so I have left it for now and will eventually replace when I start to have trouble with it. Next time I will leave the plastic cover off until I'm sure I will keep the product because the Drayton one also had to be broken to remove casing.
