Meet the Players Taking Part in our Trade Challenge
As part of our shirt sponsorship with Northampton Saints for the 2017/18 season, we set the players a fun charity challenge with some of our products at Franklin’s Gardens and a chance to win a donation for their chosen charity.
The below video introduces the Trade Challenge which we’ll be posting more on soon and showcases the players featured in the video. Take a look now to see who’s got what it takes, and who needs to train a little harder with the tools.
Dylan HartleyPerhaps needs no introduction because as well as being the Northampton Saints captain he also holds the same role for England. Dylan plays Hooker in the front row and bought plenty of power and energy to the challenge and day itself, definitely likes a banter with his teammates!
Paul HillAlso a front row player, in the Prop position on the pitch and a regular to the first team. Paul brought a lot of enthusiasm and strength to each of the challenges. What he lacked in possible technique he made up for in speed and determination.
George NorthA well known Winger for both the Saints and Wales. George was up for the challenge and certainly showed why he is well known for his speed. He kept the other players entertained with his off air antics and slight obsession with calling people "Tools”.
Cobus ReinachNew to the Saints squad this season, Cobus plays scrum-half. He’s used to being nippy and reacting to situations on the pitch so it was no surprise that he adapted to all the obstacles well and also showed some great pace.
Tom WoodA first team regular, Tom plays in the back row of the forwards usually in the Flanker position. Tom is a keen woodworking enthusiast off the pitch, which was demonstrated in his accuracy and precision during the challenges.
