This month Toolstation is kick starting its charity fundraising efforts for 2018 for the RNLI Flood Rescue Team by organising various events as well as area of the business arranging their own.
This year’s charity challenge has been set. It’s to raise £40,000 for the RNLI Flood Rescue Team across the business in 2018. Each area has a target to meet (and hopefully beat) which will be met by any individual fundraising, team events and money raised through the branch collection tins. We’ll be keeping track of the totals throughout the year and let you all know how we’re doing.
May fundraising month has now been launched!
Areas of the business have already got their thinking caps on and are using their initiative to help meet their targets, one branch are looking into a sponsored skydive, some have started raffles and a group at head office are planning a sponsored walk. Ask in branch if your local team have anything planned.
The first behind the scenes fundraiser entails a lunch club to raise funds whilst colleagues enjoy a shared lunch.
Later in the month teams will be getting involved in a company wide fancy dress fundraiser, look out for the in branch poster for when we’ll be donning outfits in aid of charity. All donations in the RNLI branch collection tins located on the counters in branches will be gratefully received to help meet your local branches target.
Photos of activity and how we’re getting on will follow.
