Good but there is much better out there
Which? magazine rated this bulb best buy but they really don't have a clue about bulbs if they rated this top. The good things about this bulb are that the brightness is good and is equivalent to a 100 watt incandescent. I was also happy that it worked fine with an old style dimmer switch that is not supposed to work with LED bulbs. It could dim quite low using such a dimmer switch. So no need to worry about replacing your old dimmer switches if you have them.
The reasons I do not rate it 5 stars is firstly because the bulb does buzz a little. It is not loud and you get used to it but I was led to believe by the reviews that it didn't buzz at all.
Second reason I do not rate it 5 stars is because the CRI is only 80. This number was not mentioned on the website but it is quite important to me. I didn't think the low CRI would be an issue at first, but when I compared the light to that from an incandescent bulb I much preferred the light from an incandescent. The incandescent light is warmer and colours are not so dull. After I bought this bulb I found a lower powered LED with a CRI of 97 on sale for about the same price which to me represents a better deal.

A quality product
I bought three lamps for a pendent fitting powered through a dimmer switch and the lamps dimmed fine. I then bought six lamps for a group of wall lights powered through a similar dimmer switch one of which would glow but would not dim in concert with the others. I could only assume circuitry within the lamp was at fault. I returned the lamp and the staff at Exmouth, although puzzled “as I was”, changed the lamp and the replacement works perfectly. I can only assume a component failure. I can recommend the product and complement Toolstation staff for a painless solution to the problem.

LED 14W bulb
After the first one failed after a week, it was in the kitchen when it failed, but the NEW appears to be Ok. They give plenty of light.
