The Protect alarm will continue to protect building, monitor and notify user even if in event that the internet fails. A built-in Sim will allow the user to control the system, whilst maintaining all functionality including data transfer to the cloud. The 4G roaming sim will pick up the best signal to communicate so no need to choose specific provider. Full sim functionality is available by simply activating the subscription via the app. Arm, home arm or disarm with an easy to use app, remote control or keypad. All settings can be viewed and adjusted with quick slide. The Protect Alarm system can be extended by adding up to 96 additional accessories. Access alarm from anywhere with easy-to-use App, downloadable for IOS or Android Smartphones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wireless alarm system Everything needed to install this alarm system is included in the box and only basic tools are required. I would suggest mounting the devices prior to connecting and linking them to the hub. The app is easy to download and guides you through the process with ease, the use of the QR codes which are on every item ( in addition the QR code is also repeated on some of the packaging). The system was installed and commissioned within 2 hours. Impressed with this product and will be extending the system by fitting additional devices. I received this product for free through the Toolstation customer panel, in exchange for an honest and unbiased review

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great all rounder alarm! After unboxing all the parts you soon realize that it is a well-built system as all feels sturdy and the hub looks very nice. Once you start putting it together through the app it comes clear how easy it is to connect and install everything as the app is very intuitive and explains step by step what to do. I've seen the siren being mentioned, but I did was I scanned all devices (including the siren) but only connected the siren battery after mounting it on the wall. The hub comes with a battery and a GSM network connection which is great in case your power goes down the system still works! The app is great as you can add cameras and doorbells, and it's all easily accessible without having to change apps. It also comes with geofencing that arms the alarm as soon as you leave the house (does need location on a mobile device). The downsides for me are the limited amount of sensors you get on this particular kit I'd rather have an extra PIR and window sensor instead of a remote and dummy siren (but that just me!); the PIR also is a bit fiddly as the battery doesn't sit quite right you have to be careful when putting it on the wall to make sure the battery doesn't move disabling the PIR and also the window sensor can be a bit tricky to install if you have a door with a lip as both parts need to be aligned and quite close. All in all it is very good all-rounder system with possibilities to expand (i.e. CCTV, doorbell extra sensors) and a great functional app (even without the paid subscription). Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install alarm Once the box is opened the first thing to do is download the ERA app. Follow the simple prompts and plug in the hub. After approx 5 mins of the hub and wifi linking the actual installation started, just scan the QR code and name the sensor ( I chose boring names like backdoor etc). I would suggest not scanning the QR code for the main siren until you have drilled the holes and are ready to mount it on the walls ( there is a 15 min time limit before it triggers). The build quality is very good and with all the sensors being wifi and not wired it made for an easy installation. It took less than 2 hours to fully install and only needed 6 holes to he drilled. It comes with 2 remote controls plus the app can be used as a 3rd control. The app let's you know when and who is activating/deactivating the alarm. I received this product free through the Toolstation Customer Panel, in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple set up I was sent this product free of charge as a member of the customer Panel and is an unbiased review. The item is well packaged and each item easily identified,Firstly I downloaded the app as this allows you to scan the QR code on each item to add to the system. The hub was vey easy to install and is the only item that needs main power, I connected the hub to my internet router with the cables supplied and was showing a green light in less than a minute.I then proceeded to add the door sensor using the QR code and fitted this in under 5 minutes. As mentioned in another review I also had a little trouble getting the PIR to work properly and would only set alarm off if I tampered with the sensor, this was soon sorted out once I realised the battery was loose. One tip I would give is too mark and temporarily fix your alarm siren first before you activate it as you only get 15minutes to set up once activated. All in all this item was very straight forward to install and could easily be installed by the homeowner or professional, if you do go on to add the cameras then you will need to purchase the monthly subscription which isn't really advertised very well. Im going to give this product 4 stars for ease of set up and simple easy to understand instructions

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy setup I was sent the product free of charge for testing and an unbiased review. Setting up the hub was easy, I connected to a Powerline adapter and a mains socket two minutes later the light on the hub turned from red to green. Adding the app to my phone was just as easy. Placing and adding the door sensor was simple. Placing and adding the PIR was not so easy. It was first place using the double sided tape provided but was not sensing any movement, then it was mounted using the screw mount provided which improved its ability to detect movement but the range is more like two metres and not the 12 claimed. The siren box was a little trickier as everything had to be done up a ladder. Adding the siren was easy until you realise you’ve gone over the 15 minutes allowed to place the box and the siren goes off. The dummy siren was the same to fit. The product does work well as does the app. Only given 3 stars for reliability as its only been fitted for a week.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent alarm and easy set up I was sent this product free of charge for testing and this is an unbiased review of the product. It was easy to set up - the siren and replicas siren are easy to fit as long as you have a big ladder - only bit that needs mains power is the hub but that was not hard to do either. Only down fall is if you own a house you could do with another door sensor because most houses have a front and back door but I did look and you can purchase an additional sensor for a reasonable price. I did arm the alarm and test it - it worked as it should do and the App sends useful updates about which sensor was activated.
