Ensele End Grain Treatment 1L is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 32.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Time will tell This is the product all the websites said to use to protect the end grain of cut tanalised wood. Went on well and seemed to soak into the grain well, I suppose time will tell though if it helps protect the wood from water ingress like it's supposed to.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Time will tell, but seems good. This was delivered on time by Toolstation and as far as I can tell it’s a great product. It goes on easy and doesn’t detract too much from the true colour of the original wood so gives good protection whilst looking great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The real stuff! This is the real stuff and the same treatment as the wood was tanalised with in the first place. It does the job perfectly so why use anything else?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great colour match. This product produces a good colour match for treated wood. Just paint on to any cut ends. No idea if it actually does what it claims to do, but at least I know that I've done everything I can to keep the wood sound for the years ahead.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Clear and concise title Purchased to treat cut ends of tanalised timber used to make raised beds in garden. Product colour dries pale green to match tanalised treatment. As water based does not soak into timber like solvent based products.Time will tell if as effective.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The right colour and easy to apply It’s quite thick which is a bonus as you can apply to end grain by dabbing with a brush without too much mess. It dries a lighter green than it looks in the tin which was ideal and didn’t particularly stain the existing tantalised finish in my case as it blended well. This was important as I wanted to keep the original tantalised finish on landscape timber. Overall delighted with the product, but have to take it on trust that it does it’s job. The instructions on the tin aren’t great for application, so I just applied a few coats and washed the brush in water. Seems ok.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrific end grain seal if it works. often we buy stuff in good faith and on the basis of manufacturers claims. Sadly it doesn’t always work out. In this case I have been buying reliable Barretine stuff for as long as I can remember and im retired now. How can I rate the performance though ?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does what it says on tin... Good product, does look a little grayish green in tin, but it is green, and looks green when painted on wood, take no notice of people saying it's just gray... It isn't. I recommend this product, although a little pricy...
