Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but different I am an electrician. These are good quality build and much better than solar powered. I bought TWO sets, one for each side of the garden. However, one side switches on about 15s after the other, even if photocells are completely covered (so not a daylight issue.) I can only assume that it is a manufacturing tolerance. Rather than install external sockets on show with transformer fixed to wall/fence, I cut off mains plug and installed within a weatherproof IP rated box with junction box so can be hidden behind trees. Manual says install transformer vertically but I think that is just to keep the low voltage cables downwards. It should not affect the photocell time. In any case, the other set is identically installed and works instantly. I cut off the mains plugs as I have an external lighting circuit switched in the garage (5A fuse) as I wanted to switch both sets at same time along with other mains lights on the circuit. Marked down one star as it is frustrating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Quality - best lights I have ever bought Great cable length between lights and extension from plug. Durable metal design - none of that plastic crap. The light sensor is a nice little extra and obviously the plug and ply makes for easy installation.

Really impressed with the quality of this range, with metal construction throughout, including the spike. Good quality waterproof connectors and plenty of cable. They connect in a chain, so if you need to run wires in different directions, you need the splitter. Bright lights, hardly visible from above due to the pagoda design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product Couldn't believe the quality of this product for the price. Low power but surprisingly bright. Having weighed up what I needed, ordered a second set to complete the garden, more cost effective than buying separately and got a spare transformer into the bargain. Hopefully the reliability will be as good as the lights look.
