Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality Product Have used this little palm sander to removed old varnish from a least 10 peices of garden furniture as my previous sander had given up the Ghost. Was a little uncertain as this was 30 watts lower in motor power but so far it has done a great job. At a price which was 35% cheaper than the one it replaced it looks like a very useful addition to my tool box of finishing equipment. Only down side no handy storage box to keep the tool in but just my good fortune that I kept the old storage box which fit just fine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing The reviews are more favouable than they should be. The backing Velcro started to come away the first time I changed the sandpaper. Ive had to be reallycareful not to make it worse. The abrasive sheets sold by toolstation are the right size but the holes don’t line up with the air holes in the base plate so dust extraction is poor. In fact, even without a sheet, a vacuum cleaner will be very loaded and noisy, since the airways in the tool are very constricted. I took the base off to drill it to suit the abrasive sheets... the air channels are very small. The noise of the loaded vacuum cleaner plus the noise of the tool is loud wearing ear defenders (which are essential). If you are going to use this sander for any length of time then you’ll need gloves because of vibration but then the piddly little mains switch is difficult to operate. Overall, far from impressed but I don’t know if any other detail sander would be better. I prefer to sand by hand than use this thing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No complaints! Good little unit at a good price that does just what I wanted it for. Made the mistake of ordering it online just as the country descended into chaos with the snow and would have been a lot quicker if I'd gone and fetched it from the outlet!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant little tool Bought this after my old one packed up. I have been using it on rough sawn wood and it's been fantastic. Not too heavy and is really powerful. Well worth the money.
