Suitable for soft and hard wood, light building materials and plasterboard. Patent pending, self-feeding threaded tip and cutting geometry. Precision-ground tip and cutting edges for accurate dimensional stability when drilling. Sizes are: 13, 16, 19, 20, 22, 25mm x 152mm long, with quick chuck fitment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quick and solid performance. Love using these. They really pull through the wood at speed. I use them for boring holes through 4 inch posts and with the impact driver they go through in seconds.little pricey if you are buying a set but worth it for the ease and speed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Really does pull itself through! I'm sure this would be brilliant for getting through a thick plank quickly, but take care with anything less chunky. The tapered threaded end dug so quickly into the slat I was trying to drill through that it split it; a normal flat wood drill bit would have been much gentler!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Vicious and beautiful I've always fought shy of spending 'decent' money on a spade bit, hit metal and lights out. Had to drill 25 50mm joists so splashed out. Amazing self drawing action and ideally matched to my tiddly 12v drill (on slow gear). Made a usually arduous task a breeze. Be careful not to give it full beans if you make the chuck grab the very tip of the shaft (beyond the 'ridge') as it will most likely bend (and then need some intervention with the angle grinder). One last thing, for deep holes keep clearing the debris as if the bit chokes up it's possible to get stuck in a 'pocket' unable to move forward or backward (adaptor bit and 1/2" T bar to the rescue).
