The best all-round bit we've found.
A great range of bits. If you have no others in your toolbags, these will cover almost any situation, and last well. Although they're not recommended for hammer drilling, they work almost as fast as an SDS bit when used with a hammer action, and so far ours have lasted years. We carry all sorts of more specialised bits, yet more often than not just grab these ones. Stongly recommended.

It's just a drill bit!
I bought this to drill 6 x 10mm holes in some breeze-blocks. It worked. Toolstation are closed today (Xmas Day) so I ess not able to mess up their day by calling them to let them know the drill bit works. Didn't stop them emailing me to request this stupid "review" though!

Great for ceramic tiles
First time I've used this type of bit for tiles, I normally use the spear point glass bits.
Excellent result on ceramic tiles, easy to start - no skidding even without using tape. I've not had a chance to try it out on porcelain tiles yet!

Not worth the premium brand price.
Bought 2 -1 for a spare and a good job too because the first failed on the first hole.
Yes it was engineering bricks and i know they are hard but that's the first bit i've ever had fail ever.

As advertised on the box.
I needed a 12mm masonry bit to mount a massive pivoting mount for a large flat-screen TV. This made mincemeat of the task; neat 12mm holes for the rawl plugs. Perfect!
