Reviews
Bauker 2100W 1/4" & 1/2" Router 240V is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from To be avoided unless you like mods Ignore the specs it will not do what is should without modification. The plunge depth is restricted by the plastic gaters. When they are removed you get the full travel otherwise its limited to about 30mm. The push button to lock the collet pops out when you use any force meaning that you cannot easily tighten the collet sufficiently. The mocro depth adjustment simply doesnt work and makes no change whatsoever. A shame really as the unit is othwerwise well made and has a powerful motor. I have bench mounted mine which overcomes most of the issues.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from second hand product none in store so had to order , as it was Saturday had to wait till Monday . Inconvenient but understandable . Unfortunately when it arrived it had quite obviously been used .It was not packed properly there were no instructions or paperwork of any kind so no parts list to check and it had a cutter still installed with bits of wood in it .a

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Powerfull enough just not that accurate I needed a big router and thought i would give a cheaper one a go, it would be ok for roughing out but the guide pillars have at least 1mm of play in or so making an accurate cut impossible, i will be taking this back tomorrow and buying something what will last.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Diy price Yeh, it is a reasonable router for the money and you always get what you pay for. Quite a heavy machine, but has some good features. Annoying is the depth stop not staying in its place so when you lift the tool it falls out. The wing type screw to keep it in place has a spring, but in my opinion the spring is too large for the screw diameter making it hard to tighten to the correct position. Other than that a reasonable reduced price purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Last minute but Had to buy this at last minute due to needing to use a bigger bit than my old router would take.Only used once to cut a worktop mitre but did the job perfectly.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Inflexible Instructions say it comes with a collet adapter and that you should not remove the 1/2" collet (just insert the adapter). It comes with a smaller collet instead of an adapter so you must find a way to dig the larger collet out if you want to use 1/8 shank bits. Also, it can't be locked in the "on" position which makes it all but impossible to use in a router table.
