ASD Half Lantern Polycarbonate 60W BC White PIR is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 48.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks OK but.. The appearance is fine. I'm not sure how long they will survive our local weather. Their predecessors were aluminium castings only replaced because they were looking shabby. Fitting was straightforward. Programming the PIR next to impossible. There is no way to adjust how long the lamp would stay on presuming the programming was successful. If anybody has thoughts on the programming process I would be pleased to hear from them. It could be a case of getting what you pay for and why they were apparently discounted. You can assume that I am disappointed. Should I seek a refund/replacement? Perhaps Tool Station read reviews and would care to comment?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Weatherproof Lanterns Probably the best looking polycarbonate lantern on the market. Value for money and easy to install. Unlike conventional metal lanterns these will not weather, no paint flaking or rusting over the years. Easy access by way of one screw to replace with a B22 60W bayonet bulb. Only downfall would be this, a bayonet bulb instead of the newer more popular E27 screw in bulb. Aside from this, perfect. Would definitely purchase again and highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product! I bought one of these recently, I wasn't too happy with the fitting instructions which recommended using the two bottom holes to affix to the wall with wall plugs and screws, there is a third hole near the top of the unit (this is not mentioned in the fitting instructions) so I used this as well - I think it provides a more secure fixing, but needs a csk headed self tapper, I used pan heads for the other two fixings. All screws used were stainless steel as we live in a coastal location. I use the rcommended bulb, which is perfectly adequate for the job,it illuminates well, and is more economical as opposed to a tungsten bulb
